Childrens Day Celebration - 2024

The Childrens Day celebration at Dr. GSK Matric was a vibrant event filled with excitement and creativity. Ms. R. Vijayalakshmi warmly welcomed the gathering, setting the tone for a delightful day dedicated to celebrate the joy and innocence of the enthusiastic childhood.

The highlight of the event was the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Sathya, In-charge Doctor of Dr. GSK Medical Centre. Dr. Sathya shared her heartfelt congratulations with the children, appreciating their enthusiastic participation and imaginative portrayals. She expressed her delight to witness students, who confidently disguised in various characters, delivering insightful and entertaining sentences that brought their roles to life.

The event featured a total of 217 participants, from Kindergarten to Grade 6, who embraced the occasion by dressing up in a variety of roles, such as: National leaders, fruits, vegetables, flowers, social media icons, fast food items, astronauts, professionals, games, birds and soldiers.

Each child showcased their creativity and passion, making the day a memorable one for all attendees.

To conclude the event on a note of gratitude, Mrs. A. Healthy delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing heartfelt appreciation to the Chief Guest, the organizing team, and the students for their efforts in making the celebration a grand success.
