Dr. G.S.K Model United Nations -2023                        

           We are thrilled to share the highlights of our 8^th edition of Dr GSK Model United Nations 2023 event held on 1st December.

       The day commenced with a soulful prayer song by M.S.Subbulakshmi. MUN started with a warm welcome address by our Principal Mr.Ganesan, which set the stage for an intellectual stimulating day ahead. The presence of the esteemed chief guest, our  District Collector Shri A.P.Maha Bharathi  IAS, Mayiladuthurai added an immense prestige to the event. He was introduced with great honour and respect.

     The CEO of Mayiladuthurai and DEO of Private school, Mayiladuthurai joined us, contributing valuable insights and encouraging the spirit of diplomacy among the participant.

          Our Principal felicitated the dignitaries with a momentum.

        Our honorable collector Shri A.P.Maha Bharathi IAS took the stage, delivering a thought - provoking speech that captivated the students. Then MUN was officially inaugurated by our chief guest  with a symbolic gesture, marking the commencement of deliberations, debates, and collaboration.

      More than 22 schools participated and the delegates brought diverse perspectives and fostered enriching debates on pressing global issues. The vibrant exchange of ideas and the commitment of all participants made this  MUN a resounding success. The pinnacle of the event was the valediction, where we recognized and celebrated the Best Delegate, whose exemplary diplomacy and leadership qualities stood out among the talented participants.

        The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, by Department of Humanities Mr.Atchayalingam , expressing gratitude to all participants, the distinguished Chief Guest, organizing committee and contributors. The success of the MUN was attributed to the collaborative efforts of everyone involved.
