Inauguration of Heritage Club - 2024

        The month beginning kicked off with the grand inauguration of the Dr. GSK Heritage Club, graced by the honored presence of Sri. S. Seetharaman, a distinguished historian and specialist in temple architecture. The students of Grade VIII had the privilege of participating in this memorable event.

        The day began with an exhilarating educational visit to the Thirvidaimaruthur Mahalinga Swamy Big Temple, where students gained valuable insights into the architectural brilliance of the Chozha dynasty. This knowledge-filled excursion left an indelible mark on the students as they learned about the rich heritage of temple design, structure, and style, immersing them in a treasure trove of history.

        The chief guest in his address encouraged students and attendees to explore architectural history, design techniques, and contemporary practices, stressing that a solid foundation in architectural knowledge is essential for aspiring architects and those interested in related fields. He highlighted how these structures not only serve functional purposes but also embody the artistic vision and innovation of their creators.

        To express our gratitude, the vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs.R.Thaiyalnayaki, HOD of humanities Department and the program concluded with the National Anthem.
