Krishna Jayanthi Celebration - 2024

Dr. GSK Matric School recently hosted a vibrant and spiritually uplifting Krishna Jayanthi celebration, marking the birth of Lord Krishna, the revered eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. The day was filled with devotion, joy, and cultural activities that captured the essence of this divine occasion.

The event began with a warm introduction, setting the tone for the day's festivities. Students led the gathering in a heartfelt prayer, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The Principal, Mr. P. Ganesan, delivered the welcome address, officially commencing the celebration.

Following the welcome, the Chief Guest, Mrs. R. Geetha, Special Deputy Collector, Mayiladuthurai district , was honoured with a felicitation ceremony. One of the highlights of the event was the Fancy Dress Competition, where young students dressed as Krishna and Radha delighted the audience with their charming performances.

The Chief Guest then inspired everyone with a motivating speech, emphasizing the significance of Krishna's teachings. The celebration culminated in the Prize Distribution Ceremony, recognizing the best performances in the Fancy Dress Competition. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Subhadra, the Pre-primary in-charge.
