Awareness on World Cancer Day -2025

In observance of World Cancer Day, Dr.G.S. Kalyanasundaram Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pazhaya Gudalur, organized an inspiring Cancer Awareness Rally at Kuttalam on February 4.The rally aimed to educate the public on the importance of early detection, healthy lifestyle choices, and preventive measures to combat cancer.

The rally was officially flagged off by the Inspector of Police, Kuttalam, alongside Principal Mr.P.Ganesan, marking the beginning of a meaningful awareness initiative. A total of 102 students actively participated, marching with enthusiasm and determination. Holding placards with impactful messages and chanting slogans in unison, they captured the attention of the local community, urging them to adopt healthier food habits and lifestyle practices to prevent life-threatening diseases like cancer.

Through their spirited participation, the students not only spread awareness but also demonstrated their responsibility as informed and proactive citizens. Their dedication and collective effort reinforced the power of youth in driving positive change, making the rally a significant step towards a healthier and more informed society.
